The minimum speed limit on Interstate highways is 45 mph, not 40. State and US highway speed limits are set by states.

l agree with you as well on your points. Did you have a scare recently with a numb nut pedestrian? l find parking lots are a big problem with people walking around and not watching out for cars backing up.
