Hi C, You are 100% correct. However in a lot of other countries. a socialist model is in place where people pay a much higher tax rate and the end result of that is the public is by and large "Wards of The State." were citizens are extremely dependent on the government that runs that country. Up until now The US social-economic model has been of self reliance with a minimum dependency on government entitlements. My primary concern is with the inequalities of who pays taxes and who does not pay taxes AND at what tax rate. In the case of road taxes there is an inequality of those that drive "Green" vehicles and do not pay "Their Fair Share" at the pump while those that drive conventional vehicles continue to pay taxes at the pump for road maintenance in every state. In the end it is about what is taxed, what is the tax rate paid, but more important who pays taxes and who does not. :-)

I have never been to Europe but always wanted to go. Maybe now that I've retired I'll get the chance. Thanks for the post.

You mean what if a car driver posted an article about driving a car or something car related? The message was a PSA and well received.

Georgia being a Southern state has very little organized labor, certainly not within the public sector.

Yeah. Seemed like a worthwhile tribute. Good to see there's someone old enough & wise enough to recognize it's McQueen.
