afghaned from Hamilton posted...
"A company survey is not the way to go. Too many people are afraid to speak their minds for fear of being identified & suffering consequences."I have both participated and reviewed the results of these employee surveys. The surveys are anonymous and believe me employees are NOT AFRAID TO TELL IT LIKE IT IS.

Seems like a survey of salaried employees, people who have a job and don't want to lose it would be skewed towards confidence in Ford... and yet, that 80% feel confident that Ford has the right product mix to go ahead, and that Ford is in a good position to succeed indicates a strong sense that Ford is doing things right... it looks that way from the outside as well...

That's the spirit! Just wait till Obama's "Greenies" get done with you and transportation, their plan is for bicycles and golf carts for everyone. Welcome to the New World Order. GET in line! To the showers, you knuckle-dragging Neanderthal gasoline users!

Don't y'all just chuckle at the "new" TV ads of people who are (now) alledgedly buying Toyota cars - because they say they have faith in Toyota? Dontcha? Wow.

Why wouldn't their confidence be up. They didn't have the massive layoffs, dealer closings, and bankruptcy of their American competitors. They are making cars that buyers want, and doing a pretty darn good job of it too. Good for FORD!!!

Ford avoided a lot of the mistakes made by GM and Chrysler but they have a huge debt they will need to pay off over the next few years so they can not relax.

I think Ford built up a fair amount of American goodwill in not taking bailout money. And Toyota is helping their cause nowadays.

Keep it up Ford. Our last hope for an American automaker to avoid the clutches of the takeover juggernaut in Washington.

Don't rest on the laurels yet. It won't take much for a reversal of fortune. Keep innovating, keep improving quality and keep the business operations at the highest level of integrity and ethics.
